3rd SUMMIT CONFERENCE FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH
In October 2020 the 3rd SUMMIT CONFERENCE OF CHILDREN & YOUTH took place at Kulturwerkstatt in Nuremberg.Around 70 children and young people from 8 countries met in a three-day online conference.
Project progression until 2022
The delegations of the 2nd Summit Conference For Children & Youth have decided how the global plastic weapons collection should continue – until the year 2022. Thus, all children and young people worldwide are invited to participate.
Send your plastic weapons to the Nuremberg Toy Museum (please write down your first name, age and location):
Spielzeugmuseum
Karlstr. 13-15
90403 Nürnberg
Other “pillars of peace” will be constructed in various places, since we are pursuing a great vision: We want to build a “temple of disarmament”.
Construction of the sculpture of peace - from plastic weapons collected worldwide
Abolish weapons / stop wars is what children and young people from 30 countries demanded at the 1st children's summit conference in September 2018.
Since then, young people around the world have been collecting plastic toy guns to symbolically express their desire for peace. On October 18, 2019, the large "Sculpture of Peace" was created out of all the plastic weapons collected – at a memorable place of fascism.
18 countries are already taking part in the plastic weapons collection (Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Palestine, Greece, North Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Liechtenstein, Austria, Italy, Spain, Malaysia, USA, Australia) – more countries will follow.
Of course, schools, youth facilities and kindergardens can also become active themselves and collect plastic weapons on their own. The initiators are invited to contact us:
